TODDLER SIZE - Harry Bertoia for Knoll c. 1953. Child’s side chair. Original design classic. A fluid, sculptural form made from a moulded lattice work of welded steel. In Bertoia’s own words, “If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them.” Rubber-coated white metal seat/back and black metal vinyl legs. In good vintage condition, there is slight wear to white enamel seat, which shows it is original and adds to its charm.
